Melanie Christine Emerson had a pretty good day, or at least that's what she thought. With nothing better to do, and with it being a Saturday and no school, she spent most of the day I'n the heart of Manhattan. Shopping, flirting, and so much more. When it came to clothing, she expected nothing but the best. Her style was girly, skirts and dresses, absolutely no pants. As weird as that sounded, that was just who she was. "I'm home!" Melanie announced as she pushed open the door and stepped inside. It was rather quite, something that she hadn't expected...yes there weren't many people who lived in the large house...just her Father and her twin....but Elena was never this quite. She pursed her lips, walking further into the house,. "Hello...anyone there?" Shaking her head, giving up the search for now she went to her bedroom. Setting all of the bags and boxes down. The first thing she had wanted to do when she got home was show everything to Elena...but she wasn't there, or something.... Brushing a loose strand of hair from out of her face, her brown eyes met the full length mirror that was on the other side of the room. She bit down lightly upon her lower lip, half tempted to change her clothes...the outfit she had on was cute and all, however..she was I'n the mood for something new. She had only taken a few steps away and so everything was still right I'n front of her on the bed. New shirt...new shoes...new skirt...new everything, in all it took about fifteen minutes to completely change as well as fix her hair a little bit. So maybe figuring out what her family was up to should have been a bigger priority, but she knew they were fine..if something was wrong, she would have heard something by now, so there was nothing to worry about. Shifting her weight, she grabbed her purse and then her phone of the dresser. With her phone still being on silent, she missed the call from her Father. The voice mail that he left for her was rather simple, saying he'd be home late...that he had to go in to work(real shocker there) anyway the part she was most focused on was something else entirely... Her sister, she had gone with some friends and he wanted Melanie to find her. She sighed, frustration clear I'n her voice as she hit the 'end' button before easily dialing her sisters phone number. Stepping out of her room, and down the stairs. Finally out of the house all together. Placing her cell phone up to her ear, she held out her arm, hailing for a can as she silently hoped that that her sister would answer. One ring...a second, finally on the third, there was an answer. Getting in the cab, Elena started to speak. "Heyyy sissy!" Was all she said before going into a fit of giggles. "Oh my god! Helen, are you drunk?" Melanie hissed into the receiver. "Noo, I'm not drunk jeezeee!" "Mhhmmm whatever. Just tell me where you are. I'll come get you so you don't get yourself killed." "Central Park! Cone find me Melly'" There was a click and Elena hung up on her. "Greatttt." Melanie muttered under her breath, turning her attention to the cab driver. "Central park, as fast as you can..." Taxi drivers were pretty good about getting her where she needed to be. Now was no exception, and within ten minutes, the can was coming to a stop. "Here...keep the change." without another word, she got out of the car. And sadly...she found her sister right away, she was sitting on a bench not even fifteen feet away. "Melllllll come on your soooo slowwww." Elena said, half slurring through her words as she waved to her. Usually Melanie wasn't such a stick in the mud, but Elena was just getting ridiculous. She laughed under her breath, shaking her head as she walked over to her. "Dad's going to kill you, you know that right?" she pointed out as she took a seat on the bench beside her twin. "What he doesn't know...won't hurt him.." She said, taking a large sip of the bottle I'n her hands. tagged. open outfit. both wearing what's I'n the banner notes. notes here~ credits. carolyn's sweet blasphemy *

With his father dead and his mother unknown, somewhere up in Mount Olympus, it was obvious that Christian Davek would have to be a Year Rounder at Camp Half Blood. Luckily with the second semester of school rolling around, his new friend Nathan Wilder had convinced his parents to take Christian in, for the semester, at least, to escape the restrictions of camp into the unrestricted lifestyle of Stella and Steve Wilder. Luckily, Stella and Steve were very lax parents and Nathan spent more days of the year doing drugs in Central Park instead of cramped up in dull classes. Nathan saw no use in mortal education, and he only had demigod training in the summers, so why not enjoy a bit of the good ole mortal life while he had the chance. It was a philosophy Christian was very much enjoying, and he had to wonder if he and Nathan weren’t brothers. Nathan’s father was Dionysus, the god of parties and drunkenness, and that certainly seemed like Christian’s area of expertise. Sadly Dionysus was Mr. D the camp counselor…If Christian was his son, he would have claimed him by now, right?
Oh well. Whether or not Christian and Nathan were truly brothers, he was enjoying the perks of Nathan Dennis Wilder’s life. Nathan didn’t seem to mind somewhat adopting Christian as a brother. The two were very much alike, living life to enjoy themselves and pursuing the carnal pleasures offered so willingly by sexy women in the New York clubs. He and Christian had bonded over flirting with the wood nymphs and trying to convince someone to sneak them in some alcohol. They had been close ever since, and despite having only known each other about half a year, they acted as if they had known one another their whole lives. It was a friendship that must have been devised by Dionysus himself, a bond that carried through parties and wild nights and all of the things a man could want. So today Nathan and Christian were both walking through Central Park, smoking a new pack of Camel Crush while waiting for Nathan’s dealer to pop out somewhere.
The men were silent, perfectly fine just walking around and smoking together. The silence was interrupted when Nathan stopped and slapped Christian’s chest to make him stop too. “Check out these two,” he muttered, nodding to a bench where two women sat. Both were extraordinarily attractive, and one was obviously drunk. Nathan grinned and glanced at his friend, noticing his own sly smile.
“Check out the blond,” Christian said almost a second later and Nathan chuckled. “I saw her first,” he teased. The brunette was okay, but he had his sights set on the blond. “Besides, she looks too tall for you,” Nathan teased. Christian shot his friend a glare but shrugged. The brunette was fine. The drunk one looked like a slut so she’d be easy, and Christian was up for more of a challenge, and the brunette looked a bit stuck up. She’d be interesting to play with. “True. Don’t they look familiar?” he asked, quirking his eyebrows. They did look strangely familiar but Nathan chuckled. “Who cares? Come on!” he said, and the two approached the bench.
“You’re friend gonna be okay?” Nathan said, pulling off a very sincere concerned look and tone. Nathan was the master of this…He had such a charming face, he could pull off playing the boy next door very easily. Christian resisted the urge to roll his eyes and chuckle. No need to ruin Nate’s little act.

Honestly no one believed Melanie and Helen to be sisters. Best friends? Sure, they certainly were close enough. But sisters...let alone twins was not something people usually believed. Both were beautiful, but other than that they couldn't have looked any more different. Elena was tall, leggy and very blond. She had creamy skin and bright blue eyes, nearly the exact opposite of her sister. Melanie was short, with brown hair and eyes nearly the sane exact color. Now personality wise...Elena was simply a lot more easy going and laid back than her twin. Melanie sighed, clearly frustrated as she watched her sister drink from the rather large bottle I'n her hands. Her eyes flashed I'n one direction and then the other. They both were not twenty one...yes Elena could probably pass more easily than Melanie was...but either way if a cop say her. They'd both be I'n serious trouble. "Okay! Enough, Elena." Melanie snapped, easily snatching the bottle away from her sister. She was going to throw it away or something. Helen was making her want to drink...but sadly in order to get home in one piece, one of them had to be sober. Some part of her was really worried about her sister, Elena was a good person...she was just simply out of control. She wanted to know where she had been...how she had even ended up there. Well Helen that day, instead of shopping had insisted on staying home. Well an hour or so latter, a few of her part friends continuously bugged her until she agreed to go out with them. Going to the local club, she had went in with three others but ended up walking out alone...and from there she had simply walked, stoping when she reached Central Park. It wasn't long after that that Melanie called...and now here they were. Elena wanted to be mad at Melanie for taking her vodka...but to be honest, she felt far too happy to even try to be angry. She shifted her weight, trying to get up a moment late, because believe it or nit, she was the first to notice the boys walking towards them. "Ohh Melly! Look." She announced her voice cheerful, happy that it would no longer just be herself and her sister. Melanie wasn't being any fun right now anyway. Trying to get up, her heel slipped in the grass and she fell on her butt with a rather loud thud. But she dimly laughed it off, and I'n response, all Mealie could do was sigh once again. "Elena..." She stood up, kneeling down beside her sister, yet to notice that they were no longer alone. When Elena had told her to look, to be honest she assumed it was nothing, given how drunk her sister was. "What am I going to do with you, I-" A Masculine voice cut her off before she could finish her sentence. "Sister..." She corrected him, pulling Elena up with her...while Melanie remained on her feet, she made her sister sit back downon the bench. Offering her sister one last glance, she turned her attention to the boy, to find out there was actually two. "Yes, she will be, once I get her home.." "Why would we go home Mel, when you haven't even had any fun yet." She said managing to stand up I'n order to take her bottle yet. "I haven't had fun? I seriously doubt you care about me right now Elena..." It was nearly empty anyway, so Elena simply let the bottle fall. "I'm Helen, but you can call me Elena. And this is my wonderful twin, Melanie." She gave her sisters arm a shake while she spoke. Melanie shook her head, knowing this was not going to end well. tagged. open outfit. herenotes. notes here~ credits. carolyn's sweet blasphemy *

The pair would have been quite amusing to just sit back and watch. Two beautiful girls, one obviously annoyed by the other. The other just so happened to be drunk…Very, very drunk. Christian snickered and eyed the two women. The blond just so happened to be Nathan’s type in one way: he liked them drunk and easy. It wasn’t about playing games, it was all about taking it easy and having fun with him. Sluts and drunk women were just his thing. Christian didn’t tend to like them as easy, but he had to admit the girl was amazing on the eyes, one of the most attractive women he had seen. He had a thing for blondes, and she was tall and leggy and downright beautiful. Of course, Nathan had already apparently called dibs on her, so Christian turned his attention upon the party-pooper. She was still pretty, so it wasn’t so bad, and he’d probably be more entertained by her. Virgins, stuck up bitches, stubborn wenches…They were all more his style. He liked a challenge with the spirited ones, but he also had a very strong need to defile innocence. There was not a single thing he loved more than deflowering some innocent little untouched virgin. Either way, his success made him feel powerful and accomplished. This stick in the mud would be interesting indeed.
Nathan wasn’t thinking nearly as much as his friend, though. He led the way over to the pair, his blue eyes eagerly eating her up. Girls like these in the clubs were easy picking, but he’d never seen one in Central Park. It had to be fate…The gods must have sent her here for him, he thought to himself. He was by no means and intentional asshole, he merely liked to enjoy life and rarely, if ever, took things seriously. Being a demigod, he was still mortal and his life would only go on for so long, and so he was determined to make the very most of it. If that meant using a woman’s drunken state to get into her pants or risking disease by screwing a slut, that was just fine by him. What was the point of being alive if you weren’t going to live? Of course with Blondie’s little protector here, he would have to rely on Christian to keep her occupied. She did not seem the type to enjoy life as much as her friend.
“Sister?” Nathan laughed just as Christian snorted. Nathan blinked, obviously surprised by the matter. Some friends called each other sister, but since she had so kindly corrected him…Maybe they were adopted. “I’m sorry. Is your sister going to be okay?” Nathan corrected himself politely, wearing an amused smile. He nodded when the brunette replied, but he wasn’t worried. They wouldn’t be going home anytime soon…At least not without Nathan and Christian in tow. “If you need a ride, my car’s not too far from here,” he offered, tone light and friendly. Christian, meanwhile, was sizing both women up, standing quietly beside his friend. Nathan chuckled when the blond stood up for herself and her right to have fun, apparently. The brunette’s response wasn’t too surprising, though Nathan sensed a victory.
“Twins?” Christian and Nathan repeated, laughing. “You see, Nate, I always find twins…The gods just put them in my path,” Christian said smoothly, amused as he glanced at his friend who chuckled and rolled his eyes. “Of course they usually look like twins, but this works, too,” he chuckled. “You ladies seem to be low on alcohol…I’m sure you can come back to our place if you…Want to have fun,” he said, knowing his more blunt approach to things and his insinuations wouldn’t get him far with the brunette, but setting her off was exactly the point.
Nathan shook his head and focused on the blond. “Like Helen of Troy, of course,” he said, certain her appearance would match the famed beauty. It was the perfect line when trying to get into any Helen’s pants. “Nice to meet you Elena and Melanie. I’m Nathan, and this is Christian, my friend. I don’t mind having company over if you did want to come,” he offered politely off of Christian’s words.

Maybe people considered Melanie to be stuck up, and honestly she didn't have a problem with that. As much as she loved Elena, she wasn't easy...she didn't spread her legs to every man that came her way. In fact Ms. Emerson had never had sex, but given her sisters reputation, no one ever believed that. Usually she was more fun than this...but she had to be careful, she was looking out for not only herself, but Elena as well. Her brown eyes moved from one boy to the other. Never letting her guard down, who knew what they wanted... As big as New York was, she had to admit there was something familiar about both of them. They were both extremely good looking, a fact she couldn't deny, not that she'd ever tell either of them that. One thing she and Elena would agree on was how good looking they both were. Maybe some other time Mel would have been happy to see them...but she was stressing over Elena, she didn't have time for much of anything else. She knew she should have simply forced Elena to leave as soon as she found her. But now? There was no way they were getting out of here. Boys were one of Elena's many weaknesses. With boys like them, Elena would never want to leave and sadly that meant Melanie was stuck here as well. Their Father had wanted her to bring Elena home and so she couldn't leave without her...even if she wanted to, she'd feel far too guilty to leave Eleanor given her current state. Melanie pursed her lips, folding her arms across her chest and her focus was only on the two boys who stood in front of her. "Yes, sister..." It was a fact that was very hard to believe, they weren't the first people to not believe that she and Elena were related. Melanie sighed after a moment, shaking her head as she did so. It was annoying her, but she did feel guilty for the way she was treating the first boy. "It's okay...I'm just worried about her."She explained honestly, glancing over her shoulder at her sister. It wasn't exactly comforting to find someone she cared about in a state like this. "This is pretty normal for her..but it's been getting worse.." She wasn't going to say any more of the subject, they didn't need to hear every little detail of her sisters life. Melanie, she cared about power, she was the most popular girl at school as for Elena, it was rather hard to explain. Melanie was starting to feel like she didn't even known her anymore. A ride home, that wasn't...bad...it'd be better than a taxi. Slowly she nodded her head. "If it's not too much trouble.."Up until this point, Elena hadn't said much...well until Melanie had explained that they needed to go home. It was the last thing Elena wanted, and she wasn't going to if she had any say in the matter. Sisters was hard to believe, but twins, it was just crazy. Melanie resisted the urge to roll her eyes as the men spoke amongst themselves. Why were guys so fascinated by twins. She honestly didn't get that at all...not that she cared enough to actually ask. Plus...she had other things to worry about. The other boy had been pretty quite up until now. Though it seemed he had quite a bit to say. She laughed bitterly, not amused at all "Have fun..? And just what sort of 'fun' did you have in mind?"Elena didn't care what he meant, all she was concerned about was the he wanted to have fun. He was getting her, unlike Melanie. "Who cares, Melly.. We should go!" Melanie sighed, knowing she was having no say in the matter. Elena would go whether she wanted to or not...and there was no way she was going to let her sister go alone with them. Helen laughed, nodding her head as she turned all her focus on to the first boy. "Exactly." She replied, unable to stop from smiling. "Fine, we'll go...but for a little bit..." tagged. open outfit. herenotes. notes here~ credits. carolyn's sweet blasphemy *
