WEIGHT: Zeus is a very big god, and so he weighs a good deal. It’s difficult to measure his weight in his many different forms, but when he takes his normal Earth form he weighs about 218.
MYHAIR: Zeus has dark blond hair that curls as it grows out. He never lets it get very long, but he does usually let it grow out enough to start curling a bit. At other times, he gets it cut too short to curl.
MYEYES: Zeus’s eyes are a stormy, rainy gray color. They flash when he is angry or feels passionate about something, and they can turn as hard and cold as slate as well. Rarely do they soften.
MYFACE: Zeus has a handsome face, with a broad forehead and jaw and a strong chin, nose, and cheekbones. His lips are neither thin nor full. He grows a short beard and mustache that varies in length but never gets actually long. Sometimes he shaves along his jaw, except for his chin.
MYBODY: Zeus has a very strong and solid build. He is large-boned as well as muscular, and his body, like everything else about him, radiates power. Most of his weight is made up of muscle. He has broad shoulders and large hands and feet, thick arms and legs, and a strong chest and torso.

ABOUTME: Zeus is an extraordinarily powerful person, even for a god. He is a strong and capable ruler, and he loves his position as the king of the gods more than just about anything. He is an intelligent god, and one who puts himself entirely into everything he does. He cares deeply about his reputation and his position, and strives to maintain that powerful name he has made for himself.
Zeus is a prideful and self-centered god, caring mostly for himself and little for anyone else. He always puts himself and his interests first, and he stubbornly sticks to whatever decisions he makes. He is incredibly arrogant, believing he’s just about the best being to ever exist, and the most powerful. His pride and his conceitedness cause him to overestimate himself at times, though there is little he can’t or won’t do to maintain his status. He is easily angered and easily insulted, and once he perceives that someone has insulted or disrespected him he can be very unforgiving. The respect that people and gods show to Zeus is probably one of the most important things in the world to him. He loves glory, loves to be praised, and he thrives off of it.
One thing that is almost as important to Zeus as his status and reputation is the affairs he carries on with other women, goddesses, and others. If he sees a woman he wants, he will have her, even if he has to rape her. He has sired many children, both gods and demigods, and he doesn’t care much for any of them unless and until they become something special. The women he sleeps with mean nothing to him; they could die and he would only care if he wasn’t through with his fling.
Hera is the only exception to most of these traits and behaviors. Despite himself, Zeus actually loves her very much, and can be very caring and kind towards her. She brings out his softer side that he is careful not to show to anyone else.========================================

OTHERHALF: Hera – Zeus loves her very dearly, and far more than she’ll probably ever know because he’s too prideful to show it. He trusts her more than he trusts anyone else, and she is the one who brings out his calmer, softer, gentler side. She drives him insane when she finds out about his affairs, and forces him to go to marriage counseling with her, but he still loves her and always returns to her. He hates that his affairs hurt her, but he hates feeling tied down more.
THEPETS: none
GOODMEMORY: Zeus’s best memory is probably the day that he was declared the king of the gods. He was proud of everything that he had done and felt he deserved the title, and was glad it was granted to him. He believes he has lived up to the title and he does his best to be a good king, even if he is an immoral god.
BADMEMORY: Zeus’s worst memory was probably when he realized that his father was planning a second attack on him. He was outraged and determined to remind the Titans of their place, and didn’t rest until they were defeated. The fact that he needed the help of demigods is humiliating, and something he tries desperately to forget.
HISTORY: When Kronos was given a prophecy that he would be overthrown by one of his children, he became terribly paranoid about losing his throne. He swallowed all of his children as they were born and kept them in his stomach, where they couldn’t possibly be a threat to him or his kingdom. When his wife, Rhea, gave birth to Zeus, she sought the help of Gaia to save her son, as she wanted the prophecy to come true. She gave Zeus a rock wrapped in cloth to swallow instead of the baby Zeus, and Kronos was tricked into thinking he had swallowed his son.
After Zeus grew up, he too sought out Gaia’s help, this time to trick Kronos into releasing his brothers and sisters. Metis gave Kronos a mixture of mustard and wine that caused him to disgorge Zeus’s siblings in the reverse order in which they were swallowed. Afterward, Zeus freed Kronos’s Titan brothers and the Cyclopes from Tartarus. In reward, they gave Zeus the power of the lightning bolt. Along with his brothers and sisters and a few of the Titans, Zeus was able to fulfill the prophecy and overthrow Kronos and the other Titans in the first Titan War. They were imprisoned in Tartarus.
After the Titans were overthrown and defeated, Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades divvied up the realms of the world among themselves. Zeus received the realm of the sky, while Poseidon would govern the sea and Hades would rule the Underworld. Gaia was upset over the Titans’ overthrow and treatment, and sent monsters Typhon and Echidna to challenge the Olympians. The two monsters were easily defeated, with Typhon being trapped under the later Mt. St. Helens, while Zeus released Echidna.
Zeus took the Titan Metis as his wife, though she posed a problem to him. She had been invaluable during the Titan War, advising him in his decisions and helping him lead the Olympians to victory. But later she became pregnant, and Zeus received a prophecy exactly like the one that had been given to his father – that his child would overthrow him. Zeus tricked Metis into turning into a fly, and he swallowed her to keep her from bearing a child who would overthrow him. He swallowed the fly, but his unborn child was not a fly by any means. Zeus later complained of a headache, which became worse and worse until his fully-grown daughter Athena burst forth from his head.
The fact that Hera was his sister didn’t stop Zeus from wanting her, and even falling in love with her. He married her and she became the Queen of the Olympians. Zeus was happy to have her at his side, except that, being the goddess of marriage and families, she despised his affairs with a passion. Zeus tried and continues to try everything to get her off of his back, but nothing has worked so far. He even deployed a nymph, Echo, to distract Hera while he went about his business, but Hera realized what he had done and cursed Echo to only repeat what others said.
Despite all of his affairs, Zeus is terribly possessive of Hera. Anyone who tried to seduce her was severely punished. One example of this is King Ixion, who had murdered his father-in-law but was pardoned by Zeus. Ixion fell in love with Hera and tried to steal her away, but Zeus sent a cloud nymph, Nephele, to Ixion instead in Hera’s disguise. Ixion slept with Nephele, thinking she was Hera, and thus the centaur race was born. Ixion, on the other hand, was struck by lightning and tied to a fiery wheel that forever turned around Tartarus.
After WWII, Zeus made a pact with Hades and Poseidon to not father anymore demigod children, because of a prophecy that a demigod child of theirs might be their downfall. Hades already had two demigod children, however, and Zeus demanded that they be sent to Camp Half-Blood. When Hades disobeyed him, Zeus tried to kill Bianca and Nico, but instead only managed to kill Maria de Angelo, their mother.
In the 1980’s, an actress named Ms. Grace caught Zeus’s eye. No oath was going to keep him from what he wanted, and he had an affair with her that led to the birth of his demigod children, Thalia and Jason Grace. Hera was angry with him for being unfaithful, so Zeus gave Jason to her as a gift to appease her. Thalia ran away, and was in grave danger when Hades realized that Zeus had broken the oath. He sought to kill Thalia and nearly succeeded, but Zeus turned her into a tree instead to keep her spirit safe.
When Zeus’s Master Bolt was stolen five years later, Zeus blamed Poseidon. When Poseidon claimed Percy Jackson as his son, Zeus accused him of using Percy to steal the bolt. He threatened to declare war on Poseidon, until the bolt was returned and the true story revealed. Zeus was grateful to Percy for returning the bolt, and made peace with Poseidon, but assured Percy that if he ever flew again, he would be “blasted out of the sky.” Later, when the Olympians took a vote on whether or not Percy should live, Zeus actually voted for his life.
Later, Typhon became a threat yet again, and Zeus and the other gods left their thrones to their demigod children until they returned from fighting the monster. Zeus didn’t let any of the gods return to Olympus, and instead they fought until Typhon was defeated. Afterward, Zeus gave a speech about the bravery of the gods, thanking Poseidon and Hades (a bit reluctantly) for joining the efforts against the Titans. Zeus made Thalia into a hunter, and offered Percy the gift of immortality, which Percy declined. Zeus was irritated with him about this, but the oath among the Big Three was sworn off. Now that the Titans are back in their place and Zeus doesn’t have to worry about his demigod children, his biggest concerns are of Hera finding out about his current affairs, as well as the sudden increase in demigods…========================================
