MYNAMEIS: Natalie Ericka Evans
CALLME:
--Nat-- Anyone who knows her usually calls her by this name, whether it be family or friends.
--Gnat-- A nickname only her siblings call her to bully her a bit. She hates this nickname and wishes they would stop.

SPECIES: Demigod========================================

MYHAIR:
Nat’s hair is dark brown hair, much like her sister’s. She usually keeps it straight and cut at her shoulders, believing long hair is too much of a hassle to straighten so often. If she could, she would add bright colored hair dye but she had never been allowed.
MYEYES:
Her eyes are a dark-chocolate brown to almost completely black. From a distance it’s hard to tell the difference between her iris from her pupil. Her eyes lashes are long and dark, having a bit of a natural upward curl to them.
MYFACE:
She has a bit of a heart-shaped face with full lips. Her cheek-bones are a bit high but not too high. Her nose is a neutral size and her eyes are just right.
MYBODY:
Nat is a thin girl with her curves in all the right places. For a 14 year old, she bit more filled out than usually other girls her age. Though, she is a bit on the short side which makes her look more filled out that she really is.
SPECIAL:
A mysterious birthmark on her inner thigh that is shaped like the Greek Symbol Omega, Ù. No one knows about this symbol except her mother.========================================
ILOVE:
--Music-- One of her many pleasures. She can usually found jamming on her iPod with the volume turned almost all the way up. This is how she learned to tune out her siblings when they start to bully her.
--Nighttime-- If there is one time of day she loves the most, its nighttime. She’s unsure why, but she feels the most relaxed but also energetic. There have been times when she could stay up all night and sleep all day for weeks on end.
--Dark Clothing-- Nat has always had a punk style to her clothing. Mostly blacks and dark grays with band logos all over them. Her favorite place for clothes was and always had been Hot Topic. She’ll wear from the elegant punk clothing to the everyday casual wear.
--Video Games-- She is a bit of a gamer. Name a game, she has probably played it or its on her list. Her favorite genre would be Zombie Shooter games. From Left 4 Dead to Resident Evil, she loves them.
--Being Alone-- Unlike her sister, she’d rather be alone than around a bunch of people. This is one of the main reasons she doesn’t have a lot of friends and she’s an anti-social.
--Ancient History—Though her isn’t a daughter of Athena, she does have a large interest in ancient history. It can go from Ancient Greek to Ancient Egypt.
IHATE:
--Camp-- Despises it with a burning passion. At the end of every summer, she is more than eager to go home. It’s mainly because she doesn’t know many people there.
--Sunlight-- Every since she could remember, Nat hasn’t been very fond of the Sun or even daylight. Her eyes and skin are very sensitive, which makes her break out every now and again.
--Pink-- The color.. It’s way too girly for her and way too bright.
--Her Parents-- Like her sister, she hates her parents. Her mother especially for how she was when she was younger. Luckily, she isn’t much into partying and tries to stay away from drugs.
--Alcohol--Hates it for how her mother was. Would gladly stay as far away from it as possible, though there are a few drinks she likes. Otherwise, she doesn’t want anything to do with it.
DONTTELL:
Her biggest secret revolves around her becoming a bit Bi-curious. If her sister or brother ever found out, she would be bullied beyond she normally was.
SCAREDOF:
--Spiders-- Hates the little buggers more than anything. She even can’t stand the tiny little ones that are no bigger than a grain of salt.
--Ever losing her Siblings-- For her, they are all she has left. If anything happened to either or both, she would be emotionally devastated. Very protective of them, even if she doesn’t show it.
--Being Teased By Others—Because of her siblings, she has a constant fear that others would tease and bully her. This was one of the main reasons she was anti-social.
WANTTO:
--To be Claimed.
--Never have to go back to camp ever again.
STRENGTHS:
--Friendly-- Because of her siblings constant bullying, she has learned to try and be a bit nicer when it comes to other people. Unfortunately, she’s anti-social so she has little to no friends.
--Easy Going-- Rarely was she ever nervous about anything. There were a few things that made her nervous but she could easily calm down from them. She was also calm by nature, not hyper though she did have ADHD.
--Patient-- One thing that she has going for her is patience. She has a great deal of it and doesn’t complain when it doesn’t happen right then and there.
WEAKNESSES:
--Anti-Social-- She isn’t the most sociable person to be around. Prefers to be alone so this makes it hard to meet new people.
--Being Alone-- Doesn’t like to be around a lot of people. This ties in to the fact that she’s Anti-social, mainly because the way her mother was.
--Low Self-Esteem-- Because of all her siblings’ constant bullying, she doesn’t have a lot of self-esteem. There have been times when she was tempted to pick up smoking just to keep herself going.
TALENTS:
--Night Vision-- Unlike a lot of demigods and/or mortals, she is able to see through the darkest of darks. Where most wouldn’t be able to see their hand in front of their face, she can see the whole area as if it were daylight.
--Guitar-- She is surprisingly talented at playing the Guitar. She doesn’t even have to read music, plays by ear and can get every cord right.
ABOUTME:
Nat is a bit on the bitter side. With her mother being the way she is and her siblings teasing her on a daily bases, Nat have grown up to be a very quiet and anti-social person. Because of this, she is usually on the depressed and angry side. When people do get to know her a bit better she does open up and people find she’s a very friendly person. Unlike her sister, she isn’t as blunt, which makes getting along with people a little bit easier. Her nature revolves around the darkness, which she never understood.========================================

LIVING IN: Staten Island, New York
MOTHER:
--Allison “Alice” Evans-Parson-- Hates her mother, though she can’t help but live with her during the year because there was no way she was going to stay at camp. Nat tolerates her enough, but can’t stand who she was nor what she has become. Can’t wait for the day when she can move out.
FATHER:
--Erebus-- God of Darkness and Shadow. She hasn’t been claimed by him, nor does she know anything about him. All she does know is that she’s a demigod with sensitivity to light.
--David “Dave” Parson-- Nat’s stepfather that she doesn’t consider a father at all. She rather have nothing to do with him and would be happy to see him burn in the fires of Hades.
SIBLINGS:
--Gabrielle “Gabe” Evans-- Sister who is a year older than she is and is a demigod like she is. She isn’t claimed like Nat, but she thinks that Gabe is a daughter of Hermes. They don’t get along very well because of Gabe’s constant bullying. There are some times when they get along, but it’s a very rare occasion. Nat would be heartbroken if anything happened to her.
--Parker Evans-- Eldest sibling and brother, also a demigod. Unlike Nat and Gabe, he is claimed by Apollo. During the summer, she rarely sees him since they are in two different Cabins. He teases her along with Gabe, but they get along better than she and Gabe. Nat would be heartbroken if anything happened to him.

HISTORY:
With Natalie’s mother, Alice, having such a party life, it wasn’t surprising that she became pregnant by a mysterious guy and not knowing which guy it was. After the births of Parker and Gabrielle, Nat’s grandfather, Harvey, did nothing more but hope Alice would stop her ways of life, but that did not stop her way of life. As a result, Natalie was born. Unfortunately, her birth came at a bad time. Her siblings and Harvey were in a horrible car accident that took their grandfather’s life. This left Alice to care for the three of them on her own. Because of her father’s death and the injuries of her two older children, her partying became worse and even left her children home alone at a very young age as well as bring men to their home at night.
A man named David Parson soon came into their lives, and supposedly helped their mother with her horrible ways. It did make an improvement, but on the down side, their mother never got a career and listened to every word her new husband had to say. She did everything for him and soon became “the perfect little housewife.” For Nat and Gabe, it was like the horror of the Stepford Wives Movie. Nat had always hated her mother, but hanging on her step-father’s every word mad that hate takes a dark turn. Natalie did her best to stay away from her mother and step-father, even snuck out for several days on end, using her savings to stay in a nearby hotel. These actions resulted in groundings.
Along with her two older siblings, she had many learning difficulties in school. To Nat’s horror, she finds out she has both ADHD and dyslexia, which she shared with her siblings. Throughout their schooling, they encountered many bullies and even strangers off the streets that would tease or even attack them. As a result, Gabe became a bully herself, and many of their fellow classmates feared her. This bullying included her as well along with the help, sometimes, of Parker. Nat became very anti-social out of fear that others would tease her as well, but being the school bully’s sister gave her some advantages. Usually, no one ever bothered her or even went near her out of fear that Gabe would come after them.
Suddenly, one year, their mother ripped them out of their school as worse things started happening. At the age of seven they moved to New York City, she didn’t understand why at that age until Alice sat the three of them down and explained who, or what, they really were. Nat, even if she was seven, didn’t believe her at first. Not until she and her siblings were enrolled into Camp Half-Blood. It was a camp pacifically for demigods, such as they. Natalie hated it. Unlike her siblings, she looked forward to when camp ended every summer for several reasons. She didn’t mind the physical activity in learning to defend herself. That she rather enjoyed. More like, no one ever talked to her.
Camp Half-Blood for Nat was like a prison worse than hell itself. The sun shined nearly every day, and that resulted in her having serious sunburns every day she finished camp. At night, she wasn’t allowed to roam the camp and just enjoy its peace and quiet even if that was when she was strongest. What was worse, she wasn’t claimed by any of the Gods, which meant she had to live in the Hermes Cabin along with Gabe. Parker was the lucky one since he was claimed by the god Apollo. This made her even more bitter toward the camp and made her look that much more forward to the end of summer every year.
She did, however, enjoy the Ancient Greek lessons that happened every day. Learning about its culture and learning to really read, write, and speak the ancient language was a small joy to her. Often, she would be found staying up at night reading an Ancient History book that she would borrow from her Ancient Greek teacher. Because of these interests, she was able to get along with the children of Athena good enough, but she was nowhere near as smart as they were. She also quite enjoyed battle training as well as the annual Capture the Flag games they had every few weeks. During these, she found her strengths were the walking and hiding in the shadows, which made it easier to sneak up on her opponents. Idly she wonders if this has anything to do with her father.========================================

RP SAMPLE:Where… am I? Those were her first thoughts when she opened her eyes to find many campers looking down at her that day. It just didn’t seem possible, how was she, a nymph, able to leave her home and still live? Weren’t they supposed to be bound to that area for life? When she had woken up, she was in a completely new place. A place filled with warmth, love, and protection… for the most part. There had been times when life there was dangerous, but a long with many other nymphs, she stood tall to protect her new home. With the fires, her waters would flush them away. With the thirsty, she used her waters to give them something cool and refreshing to drink. When the battles were over, she would use her water to assist the flower and tree nymphs to grow new plants throughout the camp. Those three words brought her to a new home. A home she had lost….
That same question came to mind when she had opened her eyes earlier that day. She wasn’t in her new home, but in a mass of deep blue waters that carried on for miles and miles. Below her, it went deeper and deeper, till all that was there was black. Pitch darkness that carried thousands upon thousands of leagues down. Just the sight of that darkness sent chills down her spine, so she kept to the higher blues and beautiful colors in the light. There was one thing she was certain, this was salt water. Usually, for Naiads, salt water was a weakness. Being born in one of the Great Lakes, made that less worrisome, but it was still a weakness. Swimming in Salt Water areas was enough to make a Naiad extremely tired or worse depending on where they were born. Luckily, this little Nymph didn’t feel the effects, yet.
This area was completely new to her, but she had an idea about where she was. This was the Ocean… the great Atlantic, but how she got here was another question. Maybe her little creek ran out into the Ocean the night before without her realizing it? She did sleep, so anything could’ve happened when she was out. She prayed that it didn’t have anything to do with someone not liking her and kidnapped her in her sleep. That idea made her sad, for she did so much for the camp. It hurt the idea that someone disliked her; then again, she did have a major issue that many didn’t like. No one ever voiced their opinions out loud about this. That bothered her more.
Her sexuality could be the problem, for she was very much aware that many thought foully of homosexuals. Yes, she preferred women. Ever since she could remember, she had always preferred women over men. Over the years, it caused a lot of problems with other nymphs, demigods, and even some mortals who could see through the Mist. Many believe that Nymphs should be heterosexual, and many more believe they usually went with Satyrs. They just didn’t suet her tastes. Satyrs were awesome to hang out with and just spend time with, but she never considered ever dating one, much less marry one. It was the same with all men to her. No man has ever… fit. The many who hated anything to do with homosexuality, could have easily taken her away from the camp and dumped her in the Ocean. Though, the idea of it still bothered her greatly.
Worrisome, that was the only word to explain exactly how she was feeling at the moment. Looking around, she knew that no one she knew would be out there in the deep ocean waters. Taking a breath to stay calm, she swam down to the Coral Reefs, sitting on a stone close by it. She sighed to herself, watching the bubbles float up toward the surface above. Fish swam around her in many different beautiful colors, which brought a small smile to her face. Several swam to her, asking her “what was wrong?” or “why are you here?” The kindness made a smile grace her lips, giving the fish either a peck on their funny looking bodies or silently explained what had happened. Many of the smaller fish, the younglings, stayed with her to keep her company. The kindness made her want to cry, even if her tears would float off into the water.
Finally, she couldn’t hold back her feelings any louder. Nymphs had problems hiding their feelings over demigods or Satyrs, they expressed themselves a bit more openly, and she was no different. She brought her knees up, hugging them to her chest, silently sobbing into them. The fish felt sympathy for her, and often tried to cheer her up. Many of the fish starting conversing among themselves about what they should do to help. A group of clown fish, and a few Angel fish who joined them, promised to find help and swam off into the waters. Of course, she had pleaded with them not to, but fish were stubborn sometimes. Silently, she watched them swim off, feeling a bit guilty that they were going through all this trouble to help her.
That’s when all the fish scattered at once, right into their coral homes. They yelled something back at her about a Shark. This brought fear into her ocean blue eyes, as they dart in the direction of which they said it was coming. It was closing in fast... straight for her. Instantly, she leapt up and swam as fast as she could away from it. After many turns and dodges she found a crack in some rocks just big enough for her to hide in. Without looking back, she darted into the crack and pushed herself as far back as she possibly could. Pressing her back to the cold stone wall, she watched as the Shark thrashed around, hitting the rocks with all its strength, trying to get to her. It wasn’t going anywhere, not any time soon…
