ABOUTME: Justin is like the law; firm, strong, serious, and unyielding. He can't stand overly playful individuals and can almost seem emotionless sometimes. His idea of playing and having fun is training with his sword and dueling with others. He enjoys his peace and quiet preferring to lay next to the camp's lake and enjoy the wind rather than spend time in his noisy cabin. The only individual he enjoys really 'playing' with is his dog, Remus, a gift from his father. Justin has a strong sense of justice and feels that it's his duty to either reward good-doers or punish rule-breakers, which can lead to some conflict from the Hermes cabin. He likes talking with members of the the Athena, Apollo, and Hephaestus cabins, but 'dislikes' the Ares and Aphrodite cabins.========================================

HISTORY:
Alexander Judge was a very well known lawyer working for an expensive law firm in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was known for denying brides, refusing to represent murders and rapists, and only worked for the process of justice and not for personal gain. This attracted the attention of Themis, the goddess of justice, who was impressed with his commitment to the legal system. Taking the form of a young blind woman, Themis showed herself to Alexander and the two began dating. Due to their respective responsibilities, the two lovers never saw much of each other and so they made the most of any moment they could be together. A few months later, Themis revealed to Alexander that not only was she a Greek goddess, but she was pregnant with his child. Although Themis suggested that she could raise the child on Olympus, Alexander wanted his unborn child to live a normal mortal life and insisted that it live with him. The baby was born healthy, but the child had inherited his mother's blind, milky-white eyes. So before giving the boy away to his father, Themis granted the child the ability to see the auras, or life energies, of all living creatures.
Alexander taught his son about the importance of justice, and how fairness, equality, and consideration trumped all else. He also told him about his abnormal sense and told his to never let anybody else know about it. He soon married a kind and respectable woman named Sandra Liet to give his son a mother figure. Sandra was a kind soul, but after she gave birth to to a son named Jacob, she barely gave her blind step-child any attention. Despite this Justin had a happy childhood and became a great student in school( since he can't 'read' and relies on braille, he doesn't suffer from dyslexia). Although he never told anyone about his ability to sense auras, he used it to do things that blind children never would. He could play sports, and even beat some of the more athletic children, keep eye contact with people he talks to, and even know what people were doing behind his back. Some people claimed that Justin was only pretending to be blind, but numerous doctor visits proved that his eyes lacked any ability to see anything.
On Justin's tenth birthday, he was playing at his school's playground during recess when his life took a complete 180 degree turn. A young woman working as a teaching assistant at the school asked to see Justin inside for a few minutes. Justin didn't want to go because the woman's aura looked different from everyone else, it was sinister looking and almost looked like it was made of fire, but he couldn't tell his teacher about his ability so he went with the woman. Once they were in an empty classroom, the woman attacked Justin, revealing herself to be an empousa. Justin tried holding her of with his white cane, but the thin stick didn't stand a chance against the demon. It was then that he felt the cane become harder, heavier, and sharper. He sensed the his plastic cane change into a bronze blade, and with a desperate slash, he cut right through the empousa, causing her to explode in a cloud of dust. As Justin caught his breath from the excitement and terror, he felt the sword become a cane once again. It was then he sensed a strange energy above, a faint silvery-light that took the shape of a pair of scales before disappearing. Not knowing what to do, Justin ran straight home.
He told his father about everything that happened, the monster, the sword, and the symbol above his head. His father knew why this happened to his son and told him everything about his mother. Justin found it hard to believe that his mother was a Greek goddess, but this father had never lied to him before and so he believed him. He also explained that his cane was another gift from his mother and could take the shape of a celestial bronze blade whenever he needed it to. It was then that they were visited by a boy that Justin recognized from his school and, like the monster lady who attacked him, had an unusual aura. The boy turned out to be a satyr and told Justin and his father about a place called Camp Half-Blood. Knowing that his son would only be attacked even more often from then on, Mr. Judge agreed to let him attend during the summer, even giving him a German Shepherd seeing-eye dog whom he named Remus. Just has spent every summer since at the camp, becoming a strong sword-wielding warrior, using his ability to see auras to his advantages in battle. Justin has also collected a magical artifacts as presents from his mother. These include a magical collar for his dog that gives him human intelligence and a longer lifespan. He also has a "Get-Out-of-Jail-Fee" Monopoly card which can use the Mist to get him out of trouble with police and other law enforcement, an invaluable tool to use on snooping mortals after a monster attack. Justin wishes to go on a quest to prove himself to his camp mates and anybody else who look down on him because of his blindness.========================================

RP SAMPLE:Laying outside his cabin, Justin Judge was completely at ease. The afternoon breeze was blowing against his face pleasantly, the laughter of the other campers didn't annoy him as much as usual, and the sun was shining as bright as ever. Or at least he thought it was, he had never seen the sun and had no idea what it was really like. He was however, able to sense a strong glow of golden aura whenever he turned his attention skyward during the day, most likely Apollo flying across the sky like always. Overall, it was a perfect summer day that the blind young man didn't need sight to enjoy.
It was then that his peace was momentarily broken by another approaching aura, a familiar light brown presence with a strange silver core. Justin knew this individual all too well. "Got it again so quickly, Remus?" he smiled as his large German shepherd dropped a Frisbee in his lap. The magical silver collar around the dog's neck, a gift from his goddess mother while Remus himself was from his mortal father, granted the seeing-eye dog near human intelligence, but he was still a dog and all dogs loved to fetch.
Briefly placing the book he was enjoy upon the grass beside him, the tall boy stood up with the plastic Frisbee clutched in his hands. Doing a quick scan with his nose and his 'other sense', he deduced the best place to toss the simple toy. He turned towards the forest (from the scents of trees and the general green color the plants gave off), he gave the Frisbee a great hurl in that direction. The playful pup didn't wait a moment in rushing in the same direction and Justin sensed the light brown aura disappeared in the expansion of deep greens.
Letting loose a small rare laugh, the son of Themis once again took his place upon the grass covered dirt. A quick check with his hand confirmed that his white cane was still placed right next to his book. Taking the tome in his hands again, Justine once again placed his fingertips on the Braille-inscribed pages.
