ABOUTME: Ever since Jake was a child, he's liked plants.Hes played in plants,taken care of plants,he even almost slept in some plants.Aside from his love for plants,Jake is a very determined person,who doesn't like backing down from challenges.If faced against a larger enemy,Jake will usually try to negotiate with the enemy.If that enemy is trying to kill him...well lets just say all plants aren't that peaceful.Jacob is also a calm person who will usually use his free time to check on plants, and revive dead ones.

Although Jacob seems like a all round perfect guy,he's not.Jacob will often commit himself to tasks,and will probably get too involved in it.If he sees friends/family injured,he often puts the heavy responsibility of protecting them on himself.

HISTORY: The year was 1996. Gifted Botanist, Jonathan Adams was attending a Botanists of America party, when he met an entrancing young woman. Both lovers of plants hit it off really well, and found out that they had a lot in common. Eventually,the two started dating, and after nine months, Jacob was born. Unfortunately, the young woman left Jonathan to care for their son by himself. Growing up, Jacob grew very attached to his father, but he always felt that his heart would never be complete until he had both his mother and father with him.

It was January 5th, when 5 year old Jacob Adams came home from school.''Son,could you come in here?''Jonathan Adams, Jacob's father said. Jake walked into the living room.''You wanted to see me?.''Son,I think it's about time you learned about your mother''. Jake set down his books,and sat down next to his father. ''Okay Son,all those things you read in Greek Mythology,their real''.Jake chuckled,''Funny, Dad''.''I'm not joking son''.Jake stopped chuckling and looked at his dad. ''But their not''.Jonathan sighed and said ''Follow me''. Jake followed his dad,curious as to why they were going outside.

Jonathan and Jake sat down by one of his Dad's dead flowers.''You actually have a dead flower?''. ''Son this is no time for joking''.Jacob sighed and looked at the shrunken flower.''Okay son,I want you to concentrate on this flower.''Okay..''Jake answered,unsure. He looked at the flower,and concentrated. Suddenly,the flower sprung back to health.''What?''Jake said,as he looked at the newly revived plant.''Son,I know this is a shock to you,but before your mother left,she told me something''. Jake looked at his father.''What did she tell you?'',Jake questioned. Jonathan looked at his son,''Jacob,you're mother is Demeter''.''The Goddess of Agriculture?'',Jake said. His father nodded. Jake looked at the plant,then to his father,then fainted. Jonathan shrugged,''That was exactly my reaction''.Jacob never believed his father,although he always wondered why flowers kept springing up wherever he walked....

''Are we there yet?'' A 10 year old Jacob asked, as his father,24 year old,Jonathan Adams ruffled his son's wheat colored hair. ''Not yet, just hang tight''he replied. Suddenly Jacob saw a huge shadow running toward the car. ''Dad,what's that ?'' Jacob asked. His dad only had mere seconds to look,before the car was flipped over, and tumbled off the side of the road.

Jacob slowly managed to escape the wreckage and started to pull his badly injured father out, when his father grabbed his hand and started to limp towards the nearby forest. Jacob wondered where they were going,as he helped his father along. When he looked up,he saw an entrance with the words ''Camp Half-Blood'' written on it. He tried to pull his dad towards the entrance, when his dad stopped. ''Dad!''Jacob exclaimed as his dad slowly stood up. The thundering sound of feet was heard as a HUGE creature stepped out of the bushes.

The creature had a human shaped body,but its head was replaced by a bull's. Jake realized the creature ''The Minotaur...'' he exclaimed before he was pushed behind his injured father. ''Go son'' His father exclaimed as the bull started pawing the ground. ''But Dad''Jacob exclaimed but was silenced his Dad pulled out a sword. ''What?''Jacob exclaimed before the beast charged. Jonathan raised the sword and managed to slice off the bull's horn. But it was not enough, as the opposite horn pierced his stomach and he collapsed on the ground. ''DAD!'' Jacob exclaimed as the bull turned it's attention to the young child. ''RUN!''his father shouted from the ground, but Jake stood his ground. The beast started pawing the ground again, then started galloping towards the child.Jacob started losing confidence, but then he saw a single rose in the ground. He reached for the rose,and heard a voice in his mind tell him {Tug a petal,my son},figuring he had no other choice, he tugged one of the petals. The rose transformed into a golden bow with silver arrows. Just as the Minotaur jumped, Jacob shot an arrow into the belly of the beast. The beast let out a blood curdling scream, and burst in to dust.

Jacob then pressed on the center gem, and the arrow returned to its dormant form.Kneeling by his father, Jacob listened as his father said'' Camp Half-Blood...you must go...there are others like you.... and say hello to your mother for me...''and Jonathan Adams breathed his last. Jacob cried silently,then looked as the sign. ''So this is where it begins'

Now, Jake was never really fond of dead things, seeing as they were the exact opposite of everything his mother, the Goddess Demeter made.But nevertheless he cared for plants as though they were relatives of his.So,he concentrated until the little plant shook a little,then sprung back to its original form. Jacob smiled,thanking his mother for her help. Suddenly he heard clapping behind him, and turned to see the origin of the sound.He saw a dryad,looking impressed at his work. {Very impressive,son of Demeter} the young nymph exclaimed. {But, i shall show you an even better performance}. Jacob stepped back, as the nymph's eyes started glowing green,then suddenly a huge tree sprouted from the ground. Jake's looked up,astonished as the nymph dusted off her hands.But, just as the nymph had finished,she looked back and jumped in to the tree she had created. Jacob looked around,wondering what could have frightened her off like that,but his question was soon answered as he saw a lovesick satyr trying to climb the tree. Jake laughed and thought {I think I'll like this place}.
