Garvin is a very tall man with a very muscular body, though his face remains strangely gaunt and sometimes appears near skeletal. He has dark, black hair and dark blue eyes. His skin is normally pale, sometimes sallow and sickly looking. He has a very rough appearance that is both unattractive by your average definition, but retains some appeal in some way. As a wolf he is very large, the largest of his pack (being alpha) and his fur is normally a very dark, charcoal gray color.

HISTORY:
Eustace and Agnes Grey were a relatively poor family in Wyoming who could barely afford one child, let alone three. And yet that is what they had...Three children: Clinton, Miriam, and Garvin. Both parents worked while the children stayed with grandparents until Eustace and Agnes were off. All three children shared one bedroom and they only ate one meal a day if they weren't at school. It was a tough life, but hard times make you stronger. That was what his dad always used to tell them. Garvin grew up believing it, though his siblings always seemed to be wallowing in self pity and eager to leave. When he was of age, Clinton went to the army while Miriam stayed around and married rich. Only Garvin stayed with his family, caring for them and doing his best to help provide for them. He was incredibly loyal and refused to abandon them. He wasn't ever the best in school and he never had the best of jobs, but he got by.

Only once did he ever consider leaving home and that was when he fell in love with a very dark and mysterious woman. He was only in his life long enough for a brief affair before she disappeared. Garvin was sure she was missing and in his foolish grief went into the forest to search for her. It was that night that he was attacked by a wolf and taken in by Lyacon, the king of the wolves. There was no returning to his family...he would put them in grave danger. Even his lover revealed herself to him as the goddess Nyx and told him that she was bearing his child, but that she didn't trust the likes of him around her child. Garvin was more devastated than ever and dedicated his life to Lyacon, only ever asking the man to help him locate his son. And on the winter solstice, a boy was delivered to a house the pack was near at that time, and Garvin was certain, absolutely certain, that it was his son. Over the years, Garvin followed Lyacon, but did his best to keep his eye on the boy he believed to be his son.

There was a lot of traveling, a lot of fighting within the pack and outside of the pack. Garvin stuck by them through everything, his loyalty shining through. So during a battle against the Hunters of Artemis one day, when the pack was split, Lyacon abandoned them and Garvin took control of what of the pack had survived and claimed himself their alpha. Being in charge now, it was easier now than ever to keep an eye over his son, Erik. In the meantime, Garvin married a werewolf woman named Hester and had a son with her named Rasmus. When he was ready, he found his son and bit him to make him one of them, though Garvin didn't dare tell Erik or anyone else, because Garvin deep down wasn't entirely sure that Erik was his son, with no proof and no signs and no anything.

The pack has traveled a long way, now, surviving and luckily never having run into Lyacon or the hunters since.
