Alice Hunter
========================================
========================================
MYNAMEIS:
Annbel Lee Elder: her birth name, that she rarely, if ever, goes by.
Alice Hunter: After being shown the world of gods, demigods, nymphs, satyrs, monsters and the like, it was a comment from Annabel along the lines of feeling like Alice in Wonderland, and a bit of discussion about such fantasies as Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz led to Annabel and her sister Beatrice taking on instead the names Alice and Dorothy as mere nicknames for a while before the two just generally were those two names. If they are ever in need of a surname, they usually just stick with Hunter.
CALLME:
Anna: shortened form of her real name
Anna Bella Leah: cute nickname her siblings used to call her.
Alyssa, Allison, Alise: just a few names people call her just to have a different spin on Alice.
ILIKE:
none: she is a Hunter of Artemis and has sworn off romantic love
IAM:
ninety eight (physically 15)
BORNON:
April 25, 1912
SPECIES:
Hunter of Artemis: she was born a daughter of Aphrodite and despite being the daughter of the goddess of love, she willingly gave up romantic love to become a Hunter. After all he father had done to she and her sister, the two felt as though there were no other choice.========================================

Amanda Seyfried

5'2"

103 lbs.
MYHAIR:
Alice's hair is very long, very soft, and very pale blond. Naturally it falls in very light curls. She likes to wear it down a lot because it makes her feel pretty, but she often wears it in ponytails or braids because her long locks will get in her way otherwise.
MYEYES:
Her eyes are very wide and very expressive. Their color ranges from a very light sky blue to a very light sea foam green. Now and then they appear a very beautiful pale mix of blue-green.
MYFACE:
She has a very soft heart shaped face. Her cheeks retain some youthful roundness to them. Her nose is rather small and slender and her ears are a bit on the small side. Her lips are very plump and very beautiful
MYBODY:
Alice has a very beautiful body. She isn't too tall or too short. She is slender and somewhat athletically built, but not overly-muscled from all of the working out she gets. She has very lovely feminine curves even for such a young physical age that she is often ashamed of and tries to hide.

ABOUTME:
Naturally, Alice is a very friendly and fun loving girl. She loves to be around people and hates being alone. She loves the ideas of freedom and love and fantasy. Alice is in love with the idea of love, even if its an idea she has been taught to shun. Being a Hunter puts a lot of herself to the side as more serious natures are favored, bravery and intellect and other things that don't fit into Alice's fantasy world. Her past, though, scares her and it's why she clings so much to Artemis and the Hunters. Despite her grand adoration of love, she knows how bad it and boys are and shies away from it all, no matter how much she craves it.========================================
BORNIN:
Many, Louisiana
LIVING IN:
No where--travels with Artemis
MOTHER:
Aphrodite: Alice has very mixed opinions about her mother. She is the goddess of love, something Alice adores and at the same time love is what she tries to hide from. Her feelings for her mother are very confusing and complicated, even to her.
Eleanor Elder: her step mother. Alice was never close to her much, but was sad when she died.
FATHER:
Martin Elder: He is a very handsome man who once was an actor and dancer who turned bitter after damaging his left leg and being told he could never dance again. He took a more serious nature shortly before Alice's birth and became a very cold and mean spirited man.
SIBLINGS:
Dorian Elder: her oldest sibling and a brother, who was named for the title character in The Picture of Dorian Gray. Alice doesn't respect him much for being a boy and for never helping her and their sister.
Beatrice Elder: aka Dorothy Hunter. She is Alice's older sister who she was once very close to. She was named Beatrice for the character in Dante's The Divine Comedy. Alice loves her sister, but is very bitter towards her for leaving.
The Hunters of Artemis: maybe not biologically related, but Alice considers them her sisters.

GOODMEMORY:

HISTORY:
Martin Elder was a man in love with the arts. He performed in plays and musicals and he loved performing ballet and other dances. He loved reading and visiting museums and being part of a very cultural and beautiful world, at least the best he could in a town like Many, Louisiana. He married a beautiful artist named Eleanor and welcomed a son named Dorian at the age of 18. He was named for the ill fated character in The Picture of Dorian Gray. Their family was a happy one for a time until Martin turned 21. He fell in love with a beautiful woman who came to his shows and carried on a short affair before she left. Martin was heartbroken and in his despair messed up one of his performances and fell from one of the balconies in the theater. He was lucky to be alive, but he had ruined his left leg and was never to dance again.
Martin became very bitter and very drunk. He became very serious and became an office worker, a job he loathed. Eleanor had been pregnant and shortly after gave birth to a daughter they called Beatrice for the character in The Divine Comedy, but the birth of a daughter did little to appease him. It was six months later when Aphrodite left a gorgeous baby girl on his doorstep that things took off. Eleanor was furious and because of her jealousy and her gall to dare stand up against her husband, Martin beat her, unleashing all of that pent up anger from the last several months out on her. Eleanor had to be taken to a doctor and eventually was returned home, humble and obedient as ever. They named the new addition to their family Annabel Lee, for the Edgar Allan Poe poem.
It was hardly a happy family. Eleanor was a coward, always hiding in fear of her husband. Martin remained bitter, discouraging Dorian from partaking in any of the things Martin once enjoyed, never wanting his children to have any happiness with his own gone. Especially for fear that Dorian would find success in the area Martin had always loved. Dorian was instead encouraged to take an interest in scientific and mathematical type things, but his heart was never in it. All three Elder children loved the arts and loved love and beauty, but in his rage, Martin never allowed it. Dorian bought books in secret with his own allowance, fantasy books he would read to his sisters. Annabel never did learn how to read, but she did enjoy hearing stories from Dorian and Beatrice, when she learned.
It wasn't a happy childhood. Martin never allowed anyone to be happy. From the time they could walk, the children were put to work doing chores and reading the Bible and other more serious works that didn't make much sense to them. He rarely allowed toys and the siblings were always forced to find other forms of entertainment. When they were caught, they were punished. Annabel often saw Dorian being beaten by Martin and he always put up with it. It wasn't until Beatrice was seven and Annabel was six that Martin turned his hand on them. Annabel was terrified the first time Martin beat her, calling her all sorts of disgusting names and hitting her as hard as he could anywhere he could because he found her listening to music in the attic.
Over the years, things got worse. Dorian, Beatrice, and Annabel got better about hiding their things and hiding their joy, but Martin had grown paranoid and had grown to not even care much for real reasons to hit them all. It was as life lived in fear and the siblings clung to their art and their stories and their toys. Perhaps it could get them in trouble, but it was their one big of joy in their hard world. It was particularly tough for Annabel who had trouble focusing on things and had a hard time reading things. Martin liked to make fun of her and beat her for it. Beatrice and Annabel did their best to defend each other, but Dorian was too used to things, too beaten down by things to put up much of a fight and as much as Annabel loved her brother, she hated him for being a coward.
Things took a turn for the even worse when Annabel was fourteen. Martin, in a drunken rage, beat Eleanor to death. The children were horrified and quickly escaped the house, Martin being too drunk to chase after him, though he stood on the porch screaming at them. Eventually, Dorian returned home, but Annabel and Beatrice refused. They wandered the streets and took refuge in the forest now and then, too scared of being found by other people and being forced back home. They did this for a few weeks until one night they were attacked by a bear. A large group of young girls came to the rescue and spoke with Annabel and Beatrice. The leader claimed herself to be the goddess Artemis and recognized Annabel for what she was. She offered the girls a place among the Hunters, only requiring a pledge to forsake romantic love. They would be immortal and free of their father and of men. It was a great prospect and Annabel and Beatrice quickly agreed.
It was learning about all sorts of mythical beings that Annabel and Beatrice remarked among themselves like being in fairy tales, a whole conversation leading to the Hunters affectionately calling Annabel and Beatrice by the names of Alice and Dorothy, names that the girls eventually adopted as their names. It was a good life with the Hunters, though it was hard. Alice couldn't help but daydream of another life whenever they would see boys, though she made herself to hate them like the other Hunters. She would fight monsters and hunt down animals with her sisters. It was a good life of travelling and enjoying themselves, rarely seeing the company of men. When they did come across a man, though, Alice couldn't help but imagine falling in love with him. They were silly daydreams, and she always reminded herself that a life without men was the better life.
Now and then the Hunters had to stay at Camp Half Blood and they never did like it, though Alice secretly enjoyed being around such handsome boys and was always sad to leave them.
It was not long ago, when the Hunters visited a small town, that something terrible happened...Something no Hunter had expected. Dorothy fell in love, but not with a man as they feared, but with a young woman they were hoping to recruit. The girl denied their offer and Dorothy left them, many apologies to Alice who was devastated by her sister's disloyalty and weakness and abandonment. Alice was determined then more than ever not to fall in love. It was only a few months later that the Hunters came upon Percy Jackson and his friends and were sent to Camp Half Blood when Artemis went on her own journey to hunt a beast the Hunters could not help with. Zoe's dreams about Artemis being in danger terrified the Hunters and Alice was just as sad, not so taken by the boys at camp now that Artemis was in trouble. Artemis was eventually rescued, but Zoe died, a very sad time for the Hunters.
Only a few years later during the second Titan war, Alice helped her Hunter sisters in fighting the war and now that it has all ended, the Hunters have returned to their ways.========================================
