Caroline is young--very young. There isn't much to her, nothing very complicated at the age of seven. She is very sweet and smart, though innocent and very naive of many things. She always thinks the very best and can be highly impatient with things. She has a bit of a temper sometimes, but she usually remains calm about it or twists things to get what she wants. GOODMEMORY:
Her best memory was a small vacation Diana took Caroline and Lydia on to France. It was the first time Caroline and Lydia got to spend a lot of time with their mother, alone with her, and she actually took time to be with them
BADMEMORY:
Her worst memory was when she walked in on Della watching a horror film and sat and watched it until it made her cry and run to bed to sleep with the lights off. Della had fallen asleep during the movie and Diana was out, so Caroline suffered alone.
HISTORY:
Diana was only sixteen when she gave birth to her firstborn child. Royce was gone and all she had was her caring sister Della. The child was a beautiful baby girl named Caroline (after the song "Sweet Caroline") Elizabeth (after Queen Elizabeth I and a favorite book character) Boelyn (Diana's surname, relation to King Henry VIII's second wife, Anne Boelyn). Della took to calling her Cara right off the bat, though Diana only wanted to call her Caroline. It didn't matter much, as Diana had to return to camp, leaving Caroline in the care of her grandparents, Cort and Mary Leigh, and her aunts and uncles. She had a happy childhood with them, but whenever Diana was around, Caroline wanted only her. It was only during the year that Diana was around and Caroline stuck to her like glue until Diana took off, spending a bit of time away from home to be with Royce.
When she graduated high school, Diana moved out and into a small apartment with her younger sister Della, who easily took them in. Della took on caring for Caroline while Diana returned to Royce and went about her own life. Eventually Diana had another child, Lydia. Caroline was, at first, happy and pleased to have a sister and playmate, but the amount of attention infants demanded made her jealous and angry towards Lydia. Eventually her sister grew on her, though. Sometimes the girls play nicely, other times they fight like cats and dogs, but the important thing is is that Caroline loves her sister and is there if Lydia ever needed her, much like the time Lydia fell off the bed and hit her head on the coffee table, Caroline went screaming for Aunt Della and went to hug Lydia until she got there.
Recently Caroline has started school and is now in second grade. She has her first little romance, a "boyfriend" named Brayden. It's fun for her, nothing serious at her age, and cute to all of the adults around...And the envy of the other girls in her class.========================================
