Ivy laughed as she sprinted through the woods, the sound floating over the angry thundering of hooves behind her. Her dark hair streamed behind her, as did her mid-length skirt. The pearly green, semi-translucent dress was one of her favorites, but both it and her skin was now speckled with dirt from playing with the centaurs - considering that they weren't at all in a playful mood. One of the stuffy centaur elders, Thor, was convinced yet again that the woodland centaurs were under attack by the mountain clan. Centaurs were noble warriors, but they weren't all good by any means. A fighting rage coursed through their very blood, and it didn't take much to send it boiling to the surface. Ivy knew this, and she had dropped in on serious Thor as he attempted to instruct the younger centaur boys on battle tactics and self-defense - literally. She had crawled silently along an overhanging tree branch and fallen accidentally on purpose onto the centaur's back. He had reared in surprise and Ivy laughed and hung on for dear life. His hooves had slammed back to earth with a deafening thud, and by that time, nothing was to be found of Ivy but laughter in the trees. Thor had snorted and tried valiantly to go on with his lessons, even as Ivy popped in and out, tickling the students and shooting dull, harmless arrows at the teacher. The students found her to be a hilarious breath of fresh air, but not Thor. She could practically see the fury bubbling higher in the palomino's body, and when she had dipped in for a sharp tug at Thor's tail, that had been the last straw. With a loud yell, he had taken off after her, his students galloping behind to see what would happen. Centaurs were fast, but as a wood nymph Ivy was faster, lighter, and much more nimble. She had sprinted through the woods, laughing and loving the feel of the soft grass beneath her bare feet. She weaved in and out of the trees, and kept running until she heard the pounding of hooves begin to diminish. Only once they had faded almost entirely did she slow down. Finally, Ivy halted, breathless from laughter and running. She pushed her dark hair out of her eyes and giggled, confident that she was no longer being pursued. She sighed deeply, proud of her work, and turned to walk almost straight into Aspen. Ivy laughed and hugged her sister back, her eyes still bright and twinkling. "See them? I suppose you could say that..." Ivy answered her with a wink, mischief evident in her tone. She giggled, tugging at her sister's hand. "You should have been there! Oh, it was so funny. I don't think I've ever seen Thor that angry. At least those poor boys got some relief from his constant droning," she said, swinging Aspen's hand playfully. tagged! aspen! outfit! click!notes! yay! credits! carolyn's sweet blasphemy *

Yesh Danna's a goddess so they can easily have something to do in Mount Olympus. Most gods don't have much to do with their mortal children usually but that doesn't always have to be the case...They don't usually go to the camp but they do visit Earth a good bit so she could maybe run into Jade, and maybe Lily, too, in New York or Las Vegas or something If you want ^_^ I copied what I put in the relationship thing because I thought my internet was wigging out again lol

Honestly no one believed Melanie and Helen to be sisters. Best friends? Sure, they certainly were close enough. But sisters...let alone twins was not something people usually believed. Both were beautiful, but other than that they couldn't have looked any more different. Elena was tall, leggy and very blond. She had creamy skin and bright blue eyes, nearly the exact opposite of her sister. Melanie was short, with brown hair and eyes nearly the sane exact color. Now personality wise...Elena was simply a lot more easy going and laid back than her twin.
Melanie sighed, clearly frustrated as she watched her sister drink from the rather large bottle I'n her hands. Her eyes flashed I'n one direction and then the other. They both were not twenty one...yes Elena could probably pass more easily than Melanie was...but either way if a cop say her. They'd both be I'n serious trouble. "Okay! Enough, Elena." Melanie snapped, easily snatching the bottle away from her sister. She was going to throw it away or something. Helen was making her want to drink...but sadly in order to get home in one piece, one of them had to be sober.
Some part of her was really worried about her sister, Elena was a good person...she was just simply out of control. She wanted to know where she had been...how she had even ended up there. Well Helen that day, instead of shopping had insisted on staying home. Well an hour or so latter, a few of her part friends continuously bugged her until she agreed to go out with them. Going to the local club, she had went in with three others but ended up walking out alone...and from there she had simply walked, stoping when she reached Central Park.
It wasn't long after that that Melanie called...and now here they were. Elena wanted to be mad at Melanie for taking her vodka...but to be honest, she felt far too happy to even try to be angry. She shifted her weight, trying to get up a moment late, because believe it or nit, she was the first to notice the boys walking towards them. "Ohh Melly! Look." She announced her voice cheerful, happy that it would no longer just be herself and her sister. Melanie wasn't being any fun right now anyway.
Trying to get up, her heel slipped in the grass and she fell on her butt with a rather loud thud. But she dimly laughed it off, and I'n response, all Mealie could do was sigh once again. "Elena..." She stood up, kneeling down beside her sister, yet to notice that they were no longer alone. When Elena had told her to look, to be honest she assumed it was nothing, given how drunk her sister was. "What am I going to do with you, I-" A Masculine voice cut her off before she could finish her sentence.
"Sister..." She corrected him, pulling Elena up with her...while Melanie remained on her feet, she made her sister sit back downon the bench. Offering her sister one last glance, she turned her attention to the boy, to find out there was actually two. "Yes, she will be, once I get her home.." "Why would we go home Mel, when you haven't even had any fun yet." She said managing to stand up I'n order to take her bottle yet. "I haven't had fun? I seriously doubt you care about me right now Elena..." It was nearly empty anyway, so Elena simply let the bottle fall. "I'm Helen, but you can call me Elena. And this is my wonderful twin, Melanie." She gave her sisters arm a shake while she spoke. Melanie shook her head, knowing this was not going to end well.

UP UNTIL NOW I HAD SWORN MYSELF THAT I'M CONTENT ( ( W I T H L O N E L I N E S S ) ) b e c a u s e n o n e o f i t w a s e v e r w o r t h t h e r i s k - - - & & BUT DARLING YOU ARE THE[/i] T H E O N L Y E X C E P T I O N It had been another long day for Lucas Xavier Myles. Classes had just started up for him again, and getting back into the swing of things after a nice winter break was hard for anyone, even a border-line workaholic like Luke. It was only his second spring semester, and by now he was getting more used to the college way of doing things as opposed to the high school way, so at least he had that on his side.
His Logic teacher, Mr. Coffman, had apparently no "off" switch, though. Coffman had come back from break in full swing, as if there hadn't really been a break at all. It was an illusion he seemed certain applied to his students as well, and besides a brief "welcome back" rabbit trail on the first day of the spring semester, the man gave no indication that a break had taken place at all. He drove this point home by immediately saddling them with loads of homework - only a few questions, comparatively, but they required a good deal of thought, and backing up your conclusion once you came to one.
This was how Luke had spent his Saturday morning - doing homework. It wasn't fun, for sure, but if he wanted to get good marks for the semester it was necessary to start off strong. Even a hard worker like Luke had his faults, one of which was getting lazier as the end of the semester came closer. It was good to excel at the beginning, and leave himself some cushion for a few slips near the end.
A long morning of homework deserved a reward, he felt, so he had treated himself to a trip to the mall for lunch. Sonic, his favorite fast food restaurant, was there after all. He ordered his usual and decided on a whim to stop by Starbucks as well - he could use a pick-me-up after all of that thinking. He waited in line while a blonde woman ordered before he did, a Grande Caramel Latte. She seemed sort of out of it, so when she gave a too-large bill and forgot her change, she left without seeming to hear the cashier calling after her.
"I'll catch up with her," Luke assured the cashier. She looked a bit suspicious at first, but handed him the money. He paid quickly for his own drink and started off after the woman. He could just barely see her through the Saturday crowd, but managed to squeeze in between people and keep her in sight. She ended up at the fountain in the center of the mall, which was where Luke finally caught up with her.
"Hey," he called, slightly breathless as he approached her and sat down beside her. "You forgot your change back there," he told her, pulling the money out of his pocket.

This was hardly fair…Two such attractive men being off limits?! Not that Thalia had let that stop her, and the man had given in, so it couldn’t be so bad. But honestly, every time Erato saw monks they were usually fat, old, covered in acne or something that would deem them unattractive. This should have just been illegal. The one man who had actually caught her eye on this whole trip and he was a monk! Erato, unlike Thalia, wasn’t about to go making people break their vows…Even if it was horribly tempting. She eyed the window almost longingly, trying hard not to get so caught up in what was going on up there to ignore the man with her. Not just because ignoring someone was rude, but being so fascinated by two people going at it seemed a bit weird…To her, at least, she wasn’t sure what the protocol for humans was these days with this sort of thing.
Erato tore her eyes away from the window and focused back on the man. She wasn’t sure what was worse, resisting the temptation to go up and look at them or resisting the temptation for…Well all of the temptation this man was giving. Perhaps he wasn’t aware of it, and she felt a bit silly for being so desperate for something. She was completely forgetting her wants to wait for sex until she was in love…It wasn’t romance or dating she was thinking about it was seduction and sex. She swallowed hard as a million wanton images raced through her mind. She licked her lips and cleared her throat, trying hard not to notice the light flushing of her face and neck. It was feeling oddly warm for it being winter. She really needed to stop this…Perhaps go catch up with her other sisters and let Thalia have her fun and catch up later, but it felt as if her legs had become leaden, firmly placed into the ground, unable to move. She didn’t want to go…Not at all.
Luckily the monk with her didn’t seem too disturbed by what was happening…He didn’t seem enraged or anything, so that was a good sign. Honestly, Erato couldn’t blame the other monk much for giving in and she didn’t want anyone blaming him when they just didn’t understand. Thalia…She just had it. She was not only very attractive, but very easy going and fun loving and just…All around great to be around. People were attracted to more than just her body…It was the unceasing smile and laughter, it was the way her eyes always seemed lit up in excitement…It was everything about her. Men and women alike loved it all and Erato could understand that because she wanted to be just like her. Thalia didn’t think about the consequences, she lived just to live…Nothing plagued her at all and it was hard to not want to be around that…To not want to feel that. Erato didn’t dare become Thalia, though…She wasn’t Thalia and there was too much she wanted and needed to be that way, no matter how much she envied her younger sister.
The monk with her announced that it would be their own secret and she grinned at the wink he gave her. “Wonderful!” she exclaimed, clapping her hands and bouncing on her feet once as she did so. She turned to watch him as he grabbed his bags and went to settle beneath a tree, leaving Erato uncertain of what to do until he offered her the peach in his hand. “Oh I’m good at keeping secrets,” Erato assured him, skipping over to where he sat, gently taking the offered peach and uncertainly settling herself beside him. “Thank you,” she said, slowly examining the luscious fruit in her hand before taking a bite of it. “My name’s Erato,” she went on without thinking much, only a moment later realizing her mistake…Most gods or goddesses these days went under different names with just regular mortals. Greek “mythology” was a subject of interest to a good deal of people, yet not many people believed n them anymore.
Still, people like Zeus and Poseidon and Aphrodite might have to worry about their names, but…Erato was a muse. The Muses weren’t the most well known of goddesses and that was perhaps a good thing. They were only minor gods and really…Americans gave their children odd names these days. If someone by chance recognized any of their names for being that of a Muse, and knowing who and what the Muses were, they could always put it off as their parents liking Greek mythology too much and wanting to name their daughters after them. It was a good excuse, she supposed, one that would surely pass these days. So after coming up with good enough excuses, Erato’s mind settled down as she took another bite of her peach, glancing at the handsome monk as she did so.
